Goodman Heating & Cooling
Goodman manufactures central air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, packaged systems, air handlers, and evaporator coils. Its current heat-pump range includes traditional top-discharge models and compact side-discharge units with inverter-driven compressors that vary their output instead of repeatedly switching on and off. Select furnaces and air handlers include ComfortBridge technology, which places the communicating controls inside the equipment and allows the system to work with many commonly available thermostats. Goodman also uses SmartShift technology in compatible heat pumps to manage defrost operation during cold-weather heating.
Goodman Indoor Air Quality
Goodman pairs its heating and cooling equipment with Clean Comfort Indoor Air Essentials. The product line includes CleanFit media air cleaners in MERV 11 and MERV 13 configurations, along with HEPA filtration for homes requiring finer particle removal. Clean Comfort also manufactures evaporative and steam humidifiers, DV Series whole-house dehumidifiers, UV coil purifiers, UV air purifiers, and heat or energy recovery ventilators. These products can be combined with Goodman equipment to manage filtration, humidity, ventilation, odors, and buildup on the indoor cooling coil.
